This policy describes the current Folio iOS app, developed by Nagarjuna Reddy.

Information in the app

Notes, tasks, drawings, imported documents, images, and related information are stored locally by Folio. Folio does not require an account and does not operate a server that receives this content. The current app does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Optional features and permissions

Camera access supports document scanning. Text recognition is performed on device. Photos and files are accessed when you choose to import or export them. Calendar access is used when you choose to link an event. Notifications are used for reminders you enable. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

Apple services and exports

Map display and address lookup use Apple services, which may receive the information needed to fulfill those requests. Files you export or synchronize manually to a folder may be handled by iCloud Drive or another provider you select. Device backups may include app data depending on your system settings. Those services are governed by their providers’ policies.

Sharing

Content is shared when you choose to export it or use the system share sheet. Review the shared copy and its recipient before sending. The current note discussion feature stores entries locally; it does not provide a hosted messaging service.

Deleting your information

You can delete content within Folio. Removing the app removes its local app data. Copies previously exported, shared, or backed up must be managed separately with the relevant service or recipient.

Support and policy changes

If you submit a GitHub issue, the information you include is public and processed by GitHub. Do not include personal note content or sensitive documents. We may update this policy as the app changes; the revision date appears below. For questions, use the support page.
