PDFDock Support

For help, open an issue in this repository. A GitHub account is required to post. Issues are public, so do not upload private documents, signatures or sensitive information.

Include your iOS version, PDFDock version, the tool you used and what happened. If a sample is needed, use a document you created with no personal information.

Common questions

Where are exported files? Open Files, then On My iPhone or On My iPad, PDFDock, Exports. They also appear in My files inside PDFDock.

Does PDFDock upload documents for conversion? No. Document conversions run on your device. URL to PDF connects to the website you enter. Sharing and cloud file providers use your chosen services.

Why does a conversion change the layout? Some Office and ebook tools extract readable text rather than reconstructing the original layout. The tool screen explains its supported formats and limits.

Which fonts can I import? Compatible static TrueType files with the .ttf extension, up to 20 MB. Variable fonts and other font formats are not supported. Font embedding permissions are checked.

Can I edit every PDF? Supported text runs can be edited on the page. Scans and complex text can require other tools, and the editor does not provide automatic paragraph reflow.

Are signatures digital certificates? Saved handwritten signatures are visual signatures placed on the page. They are not certificate verified digital signatures.
